Environmentally Safe Liquid Guar Viscosifier
Description:
DSC LIQUID GUAR E is an off white viscous liquid in which Guar polymer
is suspended in a gelled environmentally safe base fluid. The viscous
suspension is stable and the shelf life of the polymer is more than
three years.
Application:
DSC LIQUID GUAR E is an environmentally safe product and is designed
for viscosifying low density brines such as, sea water, 3 to 4 %
Potassium and Sodium Chloride. The slurry in low density brines does
not sheen in sea water if accidentally discharged. The oil and grease
content of polymer slurry in 3% brine solution is below the environmental
regulation limit of 22 ppm.
Recommended Treatment:
DSC LIQUID GUAR E mixes easily with low density brines and a viscous
slurry can be prepared by pouring the required amount into the brine
and mild agitation by a paddle mixer. In-situ breaker, if desired,
can be added into the slurry for planned degradation of guar polymer.

DSC LIQUID GUAR E is available in 5-gallon pails or 330-gallon tote
tanks.
